Above is a picture of the real livingroom.  Oh my 1965!  Don't we look marvelous!  Thanks mom for making the beautiful dresses!  I plan on making that Christmas tree in miniature some day...Notice part of the fancy clock on the far wall?

Kitchen

Dad made the cupboards and installed the sink.  He customized the little cubby to match the one in the real house.  You can view the cubby in one of the pictures below.

Looks like someone just got back from grocery shopping and that puppy looks hungry!

KITCHEN APPLIANCES
dollhouseappliances1.jpg

     These appliances were originally white.
I sanded them and then painted them
brown.  The fruits were made from fimo
clay and the radio is a miniature print
 you can download from
The site has a whole lot of printable
miniatures that you can use for your
dollhouse decorating!  Thanks Jim!
It's easy.  Just cut and fold and paste!

THE KITCHEN SINK

The peanutbutter and jelly jars are
made from wood turnings you can
find at craft stores.  I painted them
and cut out small advertisements of
each in the Sunday newspaper.  I
brushed each jar with modge podge
glue.  It makes the wood look more
like glass, shines them up!  The
bread and dish detergent were
purchased.
